  • Dr. Angela Dorothea Merkel - first woman Chancellor of Germany) November, 2005-present
  • Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo - first woman Vice-president of the Philipines (1998-2001) and second president of the Philippines (2001-present)
  • Helen Clark - second woman Prime Minister of New Zealand and the first to have won office at an election (and in 2005 became the first leader of the NZ Labour Party to win a third successive election) (1999-present)
